Building collapses in France due to explosion

“Bfmtv” channel reported that a three-storey building collapsed as a result of an explosion, on Jean Jaures Street in the El Mina area in the municipality of Sanary-sur-Mer.

In a press release, the Farr Governor said: “Emergency services arrived immediately and found a strong smell of gas.”

He added: “A security perimeter was established around the disaster area, the gas was cut off and a building located in the immediate vicinity was evacuated, and the city opened a gymnasium to house the victims.

Firefighters indicated that five people were being searched for under the rubble, four adults and a child, while 4 people with minor injuries were treated by emergency services.
