The UAE announced that the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will travel to Turkey on an official visit on Wednesday, during which he will discuss regional and international issues in addition to bilateral relations.
“The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi will pay an official visit to the Republic of Turkey on Wednesday at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan,” said a statement published by the official Emirates News Agency.
The agency stated that Mohammed bin Zayed will discuss with President Erdogan during the visit “bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation and joint work between the two countries in various fields to achieve their mutual interests,” in addition to the talks between the two sides touching on “all the regional and international issues and developments of interest to the two countries.”
In a phone call on August 31, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had discussed with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi bilateral relations and regional issues, while Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in September that “a positive atmosphere is hanging over Turkish-Emirati relations in recent times.”
