France.. Life imprisonment for Yassin Mahyoub

A jury at the Paris Criminal Court issued a life sentence for Yassine Mihoub, accused of killing a Jewish woman in 2018.

The court said that 32-year-old Yassin Mihoub was convicted of killing 85-year-old Mireille Noll, “because of her Jewish affiliation.”

Mihoub’s partner, Alex Karimbakos, was acquitted of the murder, but convicted of the theft. He was sentenced to fifteen years’ criminal imprisonment.

Yassin Mihoub’s mother, Zulekha Khalaf, was also convicted of “destroying evidence” and given a three-year prison sentence, two of which were suspended.
