Urgent appeal in Arabic for refugees at the Belarus-Poland border

A Polish vehicle carrying loudspeakers has arrived across the street from the migrant camp on the Belarus-Poland border, where some 4,000 migrants have huddled near the border.

The mechanism started calling on the migrants, through loudspeakers and in Arabic, to return to their country.   

Our correspondent, Kostya Pridybaylo @pridybaylo, said the Polish advertising car uttered phrases like this all night: “Go home, go home, no one is waiting for you here.”

For its part, the Belarusian Ministry of Defense stated that the Polish authorities had sent thousands of members of the security services and the army to protect the site.

The ministry said that the deployment of such a number of elements on the border is a military activity, stressing that Minsk has not received notifications in this regard.
