Erdogan reveals when to start building two nuclear plants

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced today, Tuesday, that his country will start preparing urgently for the construction of the second and third nuclear plants after the Akkuyu plant.

In his statements, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said: “It is not possible for a person to object to Turkish nuclear energy with an iota of desire for the independence of the country’s economy and the well-being of its people.”

He added: “Whoever says that Turkey should not have nuclear power at a time when 443 stations are operating in 32 countries, if he is not a traitor, then he is ignorant.”
