Germany: A man stabs a boy in a supermarket in Munich

German police said a 57-year-old man stabbed a 10-year-old boy with a kitchen knife in a Munich supermarket on Saturday.

And German media, quoting police, indicated that “about 50 officers went to the scene of the accident at the (TKMax) store in Munich.”

She added: “The child was injured in the neck and shoulder, and he was taken to the hospital,” noting that “his injuries are serious, but they do not threaten his life.”

The perpetrator was arrested at the scene, and an investigation was opened against him on charges of “attempted murder”.
