One person was killed in a shooting at a gas station in Las Vegas (photos + video)

police are searching for a gunman who randomly opened fire at a gas station in Las Vegas on Thursday morning, killing one person.

The shooting was reported around 12:30 in the area of ​​Robindale Road and Jones Boulevard, Lt. Ray Spencer of the Las Vegas Police Department said.

Spencer said the gunman shot another car in which a man was waiting for his girlfriend while she was inside the gas station store. He was pronounced dead in hospital.

He explained that the gunman entered the store and started shooting randomly, while customers who were in the store said that they managed to get out through the back door, while an employee hid in the store refrigerator until the shooting ended.

Police said the gunman stole some supplies from the store and left, and was last seen walking east in Robindale.

Spencer stated that there is a strong possibility that the offender lives east of the intersection of Robindale and Jones.

Investigators believe the gunman, described as an Asian man in his 20s, was wearing a jacket and a gun belt.
