China bans entry for “Taiwan independence” supporters

Zhou Fenglian, a spokeswoman for the Chinese government’s Taiwan Affairs Office, said that her country will prevent “Taiwan independence” supporters from entering all Chinese territory, including Hong Kong and Macao.

“According to the law, disciplinary sanctions will be imposed on all those who support Taiwan independence, and they and their family members will be banned from entering the mainland and the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao,” she added.

She stated that a list of supporters of “Taiwan independence” will be drawn up and they will be prohibited from cooperating with organizations and individuals in China, as well as making profit in them.

“For some time ago, some Taiwan independence advocates, including Su Jinchang (Taiwan Prime Minister) as well as Wu Zhaos (Taiwan Foreign Minister), have been doing their best to provoke confrontation between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, and have carried out malicious attacks to discredit the mainland,” the Chinese spokeswoman said. and in collusion with external forces to divide the country.

Chu Fenglian pointed out that all these actions and actions have seriously damaged the relations between Beijing and Taipei, and greatly harmed peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait, as well as the common interests of people living on both sides of the Strait.
