Sudan.. “Forces of Freedom and Change” coalition calls for the overthrow of the coup and the return of the Prime Minister to carry out his duties

The “Forces of Freedom and Change” coalition in Sudan announced that it decided to continue its moves to overthrow the military coup and the return of Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok and his government to carry out their duties in accordance with the constitutional document.

A statement by the coalition added that “the meeting of the Central Leadership Council of the Forces of Freedom and Change was held this afternoon in the Ummah House in Omdurman.”

The statement continued, “The meeting discussed the current situation in the country and concluded with the following decisions: toppling the military coup, and emphasizing the accountability of the two coups, achieving justice for the martyrs and the injured, releasing all detainees immediately and returning to the constitutional order prior to October 25.”

The statement stressed the necessity of “the return of the prime minister and his government to carry out their duties in accordance with the constitutional document, and the unequivocal affirmation that there is no dialogue or negotiation and that freedom and change is a well-known and agreed-upon communication structure that is now concerned with unifying the forces of the live revolution, civil forces and democracy.”
