Trade sources said today that the price premium for Qatar’s Al-Shaheen crude loading in December 2021 increased after Qatar Energy Company sold three shipments in a bid to buyers from China.
They said the three shipments were sold at an average premium of $2.34 a barrel over Dubai crude prices, after last month’s shipments sold at the lowest premium in five months.
They added that “China Oil” bought the first shipment at a premium of $2.50 a barrel, while “Unipec” bought the other two shipments at a premium of $2.25 a barrel.
Qatar Energy set the December 2021 price of Al-Shaheen crude at a premium of $2.48 per barrel, the highest level in two months.
The shipments will be loaded on the 4th and 5th of next December and the 28th, 29th, 29th and 30th of the same month.
